It's not whether you win or lose, it's how much your veins stick out in the pictures.

  2. That pic of you and Ciaran is cracking me up. I know him pretty well and he totally looks like he is just messing with you (which he has been known to do). Good guy though... some day I'll be strong enough to make a break with those two horses pictured ;)

So will this year's fitness be carried through to a stunning cross campaign or does running season start soon?

  3. I like the ghetto aero helmet cover. Or is that to protect your hair?

  4. He wasn't putting everything into it. It was early, but CCB fielded a strong team and they wanted to win the race too, but they didn't either. Racing with the younger guys is tougher than the 45+, but I've beat him in a time trial only a month ago. If you want to believe he was soft pedaling on cruise control, go ahead.

  5. Very keen eye Craig. Being like, a super important rider on such a well-heeled team, I have two of these helmets. This one is my duathlon helmet, with the vents taped up. Putting the aero hat on in transition just takes too long. Not sure how this one ended up in the race bag. It's warmer too, and it keeps the bugs out. Lest you think that's ordinary tape, think again. It's some 3M urethane stretchy tape I got at Autozone in Chapel Hill. It was about $8 a roll. No expense spared here at solobreak.
